Angela Bassett received the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture last night at the Golden Globes for her role in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.' During her acceptance speech, the famed actress paid tribute to Black Panther's own Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020 from cancer.

"We were surrounded each and every day by the light and the spirit of Chadwick Boseman. And we have joy in knowing that... well, with this historic Black Panther series, it is a part of his legacy that he helped lead us to. We showed the world what black unity, leadership and love looks like beyond, behind and in front of the camera," she said.
