We really can't have nice things in the Bay Area.

Thieves are reportedly targeting photographers at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. According to KTVU, two separate incidents occurred in the past two weeks. Thieves were unsuccessful and left empty handed during one incident. In the other, thieves were seen running off with a backpack or equipment before getting away in a silver vehicle. The events are under investigation.

Local residents are unfortunately used to crime occurring in their Marina/Cow Hollow neighborhoods. Auto burglaries are common and residents have asked for more police officers to patrol the area as a result.

Overall, if you're heading out to Palace of Fine Arts for a photo shooter, keep your eyes open and look out for thieves!
