Over 10,000 Cannabis Plants Seized & 17 Warrants Served In Antioch

Looks like a major drug bust went down in Antioch!

From August 31 through September 7th, seventeen warrants were served and 10,451 cannabis plants were seized by the California Department of Cannabis Control and Antioch police. The unlicensed plants were reportedly worth an estimated value of $7.3 million.

Additionally, officials also retrieved $23,355 in cash and six firearms.

While marijuana usage is legal in California, KRON 4 reports, "The state’s department of cannabis control regulates the growing, manufacture, transportation, sale, and labeling of marijuana products in the state."
