San Francisco Officers Put On Leave For Not Meeting Vaccine Deadline

As many as 70 employees of the San Francisco Police Department have been put on leave for failing to meet the city's vaccine requirement. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, of the 70 employees placed on leave, 54 of them are sworn officers.

Employees that were put on leave, who did not get the vaccine and failed to provide religious or medical exemption, are reportedly "pending termination proceedings."

The deadline for city employees to get vaccinated was Monday, November 1st.
