A woman from Illinois was headed to Hawaii when her vaccine card got flagged at the airport. Officials got suspicious of her vaccine records when they noticed 'Moderna' was spelled incorrectly.

She apparently faked her vaccine card in order to be exempt from the mandatory quarantine ordered for unvaccinated tourists with no negative covid test results. According the card, she received the 'Maderna' vaccine.

After further investigation, officials discovered that the woman's records were confirmed to be non-existent. According to SF GATE, she had also lied about where she was staying for her Hawaii trip and failed to disclose information about her return flight.
