Thought Your Mama Was Strict? See These New Gaming Restrictions For Minors

Like most parents, parents in China have joined in the conversation surrounding the side effects of their children's gaming time. Parents in China have reportedly complained so much that the government has decided to step to place one of the strictest bans on gaming ever. Parents feel that their children's gaming habits, and in some cases addictions, are highly affecting their ability to pay attention, focus on their schoolwork and even stay physically active. With these new restrictions minors are not allowed to play during the weekdays and can only play for 3 hours total during the weekends and holidays. This 3 hour block of time is reportedly only between 8pm-9pm from Friday to Sunday weekly. The next question is how will they enforce this, apparently they are leaving it to the gaming companies to restrict kids under 18 from accessing online games.
