It's that time of year when we see wildfires start to pick up in CALIFORNIA. Sadly, this has become a time of year to expect, but unfortunately we still never know how big the fires will be or exactly when and where they will strike. This uncertainty leaves a lot of people stuck when fires hit because they are left without power, unhoused, and in the worst cases these fires can be tragic and deadly. Surrounding cities are feeling the effects of these fires through poor air quality and lack of visibility. Check out these vids and pics from Lake Tahoe as folks were experiencing 'apocalyptic' scenes of smoke filled skies. Prayers up to the folks in the midst of these fires and please take this reminder to make sure you have your emergency plan in order.
