On August 20th, San Francisco launched a city-wide vaccine mandate. Everyone 12 and older must present proof of vaccination in order to enter restaurants, gyms, bars and clubs, as well as large indoor events and any businesses or events serving food or drinks indoors.

To show proof of vaccination, you will need to show at least one of the following:

  • The physical vaccine record provided by the CDC (the card you received after getting your vaccine)
  • A photo of the card saved on your phone
  • A digital vaccine record issued by the State of California. You can access your digital record here.

Masks are still required, regardless of vaccination status. Get more information here.

*If you misplaced your vaccine card, you may ask for a replacement, request your medical records, etc. Find out more information on replacing your card or ways to show proof here.
