Mom Pulled Child Out Of Contra Costa School, Says They're Not Being Safe

This Contra Costa County mom decided to pull her son out of school because she was concerned the school wasn't doing enough to keep their students safe.

This mother told NBC Bay Area, “Just doesn’t seem safe... my son says they’re not washing hands, no hand sanitizing, not wiping the desks down he hasn’t seen anyone doing that.”

She reportedly has other young kids, one with asthma, and does not want to take the risk of her high school son bringing home COVID.

The district superintendent says they are abiding by the CDC health guidelines and the classes are thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day.
