In an effort to love on Mama Earth and help you clean up some clutter while doing something good for yourself and others- Nike has launched their Nike Refurbish program. You've probably got more than one pair of Nike kicks, maybe not as many as this employee transporting shoes, bur maybe close! A lot of which, are gently used or not even used at all. If that's you, here's your chance to not only get a little return back, spread sneakerhead love and the most important part ~~> reduce waste. Nike will take the gently used sneaks, pass them to their team to hand clean 'em up, then they get put back on shelves where they are resold. Cool thing is, if you're shopping they will include a bit about the shoe's life on helpful tag/QR Code- think shoe facts! Not to worry they obviously have standards for quality they're allowing and shoes that are more than gently used still have the opportunity to be part of the program. This route is a bit different, but you can still join Nike to decrease waste of these products. So instead of sending them to landfill, donate them or drop them off to Nike where they grind them into materials that can be used to build recreational structures and more!

But back to the Refurbish program - whether you have kicks to turn in or you want to snag a pair Nike is launching the program in select stores, and as the program grows it will likely become more accessible. In the meantime - clean out that closet and Go Now to See How The Nike Refurbish Program Works. You can visit stores in Vacaville or Gilroy to get your refurbish started - Click Here For Locations!
