Criminal Charges Against Breonna Taylor's Boyfriend Dropped

As we come up on the one year anniversary of Breonna Taylor's fatal shooting, her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker who was with her on that tragic night has been cleared of any criminal charges he received for reportedly shooting and injuring an officer. Kenneth shared that in the darkness and shuffle that he shot in self defense against intruders as the officers didn't announce themselves when they entered the home. For this one shot, Kenneth was charged with attempted murder of a police officer. The dismissal of the charge means that he can never be charged with these crimes again. This ruling will hopefully provide some closure to a very tough year that Kenneth as well as Breonna's family and friends have endured. The officers still haven't been held accountable for their actions that night that took Breonna away from her loved ones, but this is just one step towards healing, which will truly begun once they are held accountable.
