As Bay Area students prepare to go back to in person learning there are still some major areas where students and their families could use some help. With families struggling during the Pandemic to make ends meet for basic needs, the ability to cover the costs for school supplies, internet access, as well as devices to fulfill school requirements typically comes secondary. With this in mind, the San Francisco Unified School District has partnered with the SF Education Fund to create the Covid 19 Relief Fund to collect donations to help these students and their families. These funds will not only help families cover school supplies, but the families can use this money for rent, groceries and other basic needs. The goal of this partnership is to be able to collect $250,000 to help 1000 families, especially those that don't have access to help from the government.

If you're looking for ways to support these families- you can make a donation here!

If you're a family in need of help please contact your student's school Principal as they will be working with The San Francisco Ed Fund to identify families in need.
