Former Police Officer Embezzled $100,000 From Foster City Little League

Jeffrey Aspillera, former police officer, has been charged with embezzling of over $100,000 within three years from Foster City Little League. According to the DA office, he used the money for personal items including: golfing gear, snorkeling gear, apple watch, Costco and gasoline purchases. He also allegedly added little league dues to his own bank account.

The embezzlement was uncovered by a new volunteer treasurer who went to the bank after he refused to provide her with any records. Aspirella pleaded not guilty in court and posted $75,000 bail.
