Mayor London Breed Says "Do Not Come To San Francisco For 4/20"

Annual Marijuana "Holiday" 4/20 Celebrated In San Francisco

4/20 is one of the biggest celebrations in the Bay Area. People from all over go to Robin Williams Meadows, also known as 'Hippie Hill', to celebrate the famous marijuana holiday. San Francisco Mayor London Breed had a stern message to everyone wanting to celebrate the holiday this year.

Do not come to San Francisco on 4/20 to Robin Williams Meadows. We will not allow this unsanctioned event to occur this year, especially in the height of a pandemic.

Mayor London Breed also stated the area will be fenced off, road blocks will be put in place, and police will be patrolling. They will be citing and/or arresting people if seen on location. Large gatherings in all of the Bay Area are banned because of the coronavirus. It is encouraged to continue to stay home and to social distance.
