Kanye West Beats Jay-Z & More On Forbes' Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts Of 2019

Kanye West, Jay-Z and Drake are among hip-hop's highest paid acts of 2019.

Forbes unveiled its list of the genre's top 20 money-making musicians this week, which saw Ye reigning supreme this year as the only artist with triple figures with $150 million. Hova and Drizzy follow after with double digits: the former trails with just half of Ye's sum with $81 million, as Drake falls third with $75 million. Per the site, overall, hip-hop brought in $860 million.

Also to make the cut as high earners of the year include Travis Scott ($58m), Eminem ($50m), Migos ($36m), and J. Cole ($31m). Albeit outnumbered by their male counterparts, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are the only emcees to hold it down for the ladies, ranking the #12 and #13 slots of the Forbes list, as the "Chun-Li" lyricist banked $29 million — just $1 million more than her "Money" rap rival.
