"G-Funk" Documentary Is Worth Watching
posted by J -
Over the weekend I watched the YouTube Original documentary "G-Funk" and it was hella good. I know my hip hop history but this doc cleared a lot of things up for me. For example did you ever even think about Warren G and why he was never signed to Death Row Records but Nate Dogg and Snoop were? Didn't even cross my mind and now I know why.
Warren G is the GOAT. He created a genre that changed the world of hip hop. This doc goes deep into G-Funk/hip hop culture and I recommend it. There are clips that have never been seen before and honestly If you want to be inspired, watch "G-Funk."
Have you seen it? What did you think?
