That cliche is especially valid when the flights in question are substantially cheap and take you to cool destinations! In fact, right now, a trip to Las Vegas could cost you less than filling up your gas tank. Similarly, a roundtrip ticket to New York City might cost you a third of what you spend on groceries each week.

According to a list compiled by Student Universe, the cheapest place to fly to in California right now is Los Angeles! Depending on where you're flying in from, a roundtrip ticket to The City of Angels could cost you a mere $45!

Other destinations that made the list include Chicago, Miami, and Costa Rica to name only a few.
