He's had some varying health issues over the years, including a lifelong fight with Sickle Cell as of now though his exact cause of death is unknown.
Prodigy was in Vegas performing with a slew of other OG rappers over the weekend for the Art of Rap tour, representatives for Prodigy say he was hospitalized after the show due to a sickle cell related cause.
