Teen Faces 20 Years For Accidentally Shooting Police While Protecting His Family

A teenager, whom moments before shooting called the police to report a burglary at his home, is now facing up to 20 years in jail for accidentally shooting police through his window. The family had a string of attempted burglaries, and had called the police 4 times in the previous 2 days because of the repeated attempts!

He heard and saw someone outside of his window, and shot a warning shot trying to scare them off. Unfortunately, the officers were hit with shrapnel in the arm and the face. Officers admitted they didn't have their lights or sirens on nor was there vehicles visible from his house.

This child may loose his future for trying to protect his home. What do you think?
