A man who identified himself as Robert Godwin Sr.âs son, cried while comforting another family member after learning his father was fatally shot around 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday by the Cleveland suspect.
Cleveland police chief Calvin Williams said there was no apparent connection between Godwin and his killer; Stephens chose his victim at random for a âsenselessâ killing.
