Nicki Minaj's upcoming album will be the first she puts out without the assistance of Safaree Samuels, her ex-boyfriend. The hype man cum Love & Hip Hop star shared an Instagram Live clip where he ponders on all the money Nicki supposedly still owes him for his work on The Pinkprint.
Filming a double platinum plaque for the record, Safaree says, "It's crazy you could come somewhere and see your work and know that you ain't get a damn thing for it." His voice almost breaks and he continues, "Crooked ass niggas."
The rapper maintains that Nicki Minaj didn't pay him for her last album. On his recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Minaj's ex for 12 years spilled tea on his past relationship with the rap diva. Though they never signed any "paperwork," Safaree said he never received any compensation for his work on the smash hit.
