You can hear him weekdays from 2:00pm-6:00pm (PST) and mixing live weeknights 9pm, 11pm and Saturdays 8pm - Midnight.
BIGVON, born Von Chambers, moved to Northern California from New Jersey as a child. Growing up he always had an insatiable love for music, especially radio-- he never wanted to turn it off. BIGVON decided at an early age that his career goals were to be in the music business. His big dreams lead him to KMEL-FM in 1996 when he started as an intern. Over the years with hard work and dedication to his craft he has transformed the most widely known DJs in Northern California. A few notable guests on BIGVON's show include T.I., Chris Brown, and Mary J. Blige. He has also DJ’ed for celebrities like Lupe Fiasco, David Banner, and Wu Tang Clan. His popularity and consistency in delivering fiery sounds across the radio airwaves and in clubs has created a strong following for him spanning from ages 14-40.
BIGVON is currently doing all that is necessary to remain the top DJ in Northern California and is looking to expand his reach to the whole west coast. Big Von wants to be the DJ that brings all the hot sounds to all the major radio stations and clubs in California and beyond.
