Countdown to the Memorial Day Weekend. Thinking of getting in a quick getaway? If you're planning to spend sometime behind the wheel - plan ahead for these gas prices, because they don't seem to be going down just yet. The national price at the pump is closer to $4.59, but there are stations in the Bay Area charging closer to $6.20 a gallon, making us hit the top of the list for the most expensive gas. A gas station in Menlo Park had regular gas at $7.25 with premium at $7.75 - YIKES! That roadtrip just might have to wait!
