SJ Japantown Storeowners Work Together To Catch Smash & Grab Caught on CAM

Three San Jose biz owners were shocked to find out that their stores had been vandalized on Halloween. They're hoping that sharing their video footage seen in the report above from the smash & grab will help catch the thief. Although he damaged all three locations' storefronts - he was only able to getaway with a cash box from the 3rd location, which the owner reportedly said only had about $80 in it. The owner of Arsenal an art studio and one of the storefronts that got hit said, 'The businesses in here really care for each other, the people that live around here care for our business...', it's this community togetherness that will hopefully help rebuild safety. Although the Smash & Grabber did some considerable damage, it could have been a lot worse, so the storeowners are fixing the damage and making sure something like this doesn't happen again.
