Lots to look forward to as theaters reopen and most of your fav actors get back to work producing new movies left and right. Issa Rae is filming her last and final season of Insecure (I'll save my sadness for another blog post.) But now that she has joined the animated world, you'll get to check out Issa as the new Spider Woman, Jessica Drew. She will be joining Shameik Moore as they kick butt for this next installment of Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse, set to hit theaters in October 2022. Let the countdown begin! OH and even though this blog is coming from CAL Bear territory - we won't go too much in to that - I still should mention that Issa will also deliver a commencement speech this weekend for the Stanford class of 2021. (Insert Clap Emojis) =)
