When We Should See Some Relief From A Recent Jump In Gas Prices

With Shelter in Place orders in place in the Bay Area, that meant less cars on the roads overall, but as counties start to move into the red tier more businesses are re-opening and traffic is increasing (Mother Nature was just starting to get used to the decrease in emissions). As you start to get out and about even more, this ultimately means you'll be paying more attention to how much you're spending at the pump. Some experts are reporting that gas prices are the highest they've seen this year and actually for all of 2020. With the major storms hitting Texas and the South- a number of major refineries were unable to function. This shut down is now showing up in the cost, where we're seeing a jump in some places as high as .30 cents more per gallon than last month. It will take time for the prices to come back down - and some projections are saying that we might see this by the end of the month. In the meantime, keep checking apps like Gas Buddy for the best prices near you and keep racking up those points at the grocery store that can be used at the pump!!
