Every year Sports Illustrated partners with Muhammad Ali's family to select a deserving recipient for their Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali Legacy Award. This year the magazine and the family of the late great activist and boxer have selected none other than Colin Kaepernick. He has caused millions of people to examine the inequality and social injustice in the US and he has also donated nearly a million dollars to support this cause. His fight for social justice, and his commitment to his beliefs no matter the cost are the reasons he has been selected! Congrats Kap!
