Pharrell Williams is turning to women to help him collect songs for the soundtrack to the latest installment of the "NBA 2K" video game series.
According to Billboard, he decided to take an "alternative approach" to curating the song list by enlisting the help of his female staff members. He believes women listen to the video game's music "just as much" as men because many play the game themselves or have boyfriends that play it.
Pharrell also felt he had to take a different approach to curating because it would be difficult to follow previous curators such as LeBron James and Jay Z.
Pharrell's soundtrack selections will be unveiled later this summer. The "NBA 2K15" cover will feature reigning MVP Kevin Durant and will arrive on October 7th.
